Now it appears that the ugly term was attributed to Trump but not spoken by Trump. Regardless, it is accurate. Why not say so?

These fake phony democrats. They call their fellow countrymen far worse than this, especially if you are a christian living in flyover country. They allow Harry Reid to go onto the floor of the Senate, and outright lie about a Presidential candidate. They continuously lie about any number of subjects. They call me jingoist, climate denier, a racist, homophope, deplorable, irredeemable so and so at every hour of every day of the year, and then they expect me to be shocked, outraged and demand Trump resign about calling a country exactly what it is? Not going to happen.

However the slur, teabaggers, was first used by Rachel Maddow followed by Anderson Cooper. No surprise there. If anyone would know the slur, those two would lead the pack.

That is incorrect. Tea Partiers said they were tea bagging before it became impossible for news reporters to keep a straight face when reporting on it. However, it was rather juvenile (funny, but juvenile), so don't consider this a full-throated defense of tea bagging. We'll leave that to you.

Actually, it is STILL not clear if it was accurate or not. Now I hear that it was a quote from a Democratic aide. Also, Durbin is a repeat offender when it comes to lying...he was even called out during the Obama Administration for making things up.

I say, if you can't get the truth (2 Republican Senators said it did not happen, others say it did), then you just have to dump the whole thing and stop discussing.

This one stumps me. Not that the communist shithead Durbin would gleefully run to the nearest cameras to shout this and call it racism. Not that the MSM would just as gleefully prop this stupid meme up. No! What stumps me is that anyone thinks Haiti, for example, or most countries in Africa are NOT shitholes. Or maybe more to the point in the context of this discussion; that the U.S. should seek out and bring in poor illiterate immigrants from these shithole countries.

Our country is committing cultural and ethnic suicide and the Democrats are unhappy that we aren't doing it faster.

This is just plain dishonest, disingenuous, and stupid. Johnson talked about "n*ggers" and had staff meetings while he was on the can, W called Adam Clymer an "major-league *sshole", Biden said passing Obamacare was "a big f*cking deal", and Hillary was famous for her potty mouth, and Bill is known for Oval Office escapades with Monica Lewinsky.

My thought is that the only reason for Durbin to leak this is to cause an international incident to get at Trump. This happened in a private meeting and except for policy decisions made or not made, everything else should have stayed in the room. I don't see why anybody would have a private meeting with Durbin (or likely any Democrat) again. I would either tape all meetings, bring the press in for all meetings, or not have meetings with them again.

If Trump actually did say it, I wish he had used another term, but there are some countries that are so obviously fit that description (eg. Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Zimbabwe), that I have a hard time worrying about it. This is just more subterfuge to distract our attention from all the great things that are happening because of Trump.

Actually, I had hoped Trump did say it as that is precisely what most Trump supporters see in our current immigration mess. We seem to accept no immigrants except the most wretched 3rd world escape artists that are mostly looking for a free ride through life that their current government won't or can't provide. The fact that the uniparty does not understand the political environment they are in does indicate that they need to resign and go home. Perhaps living among the deplorables will get them in sync with reality once again.
