Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

These fake phony democrats. They call their fellow countrymen far worse than this, especially if you are a christian living in flyover country. They allow Harry Reid to go onto the floor of the Senate, and outright lie about a Presidential candidate. They continuously lie about any number of subjects. They call me jingoist, climate denier, a racist, homophope, deplorable, irredeemable so and so at every hour of every day of the year, and then they expect me to be shocked, outraged and demand Trump resign about calling a country exactly what it is? Not going to happen.
Puhleeeze...
Aren't these the same people who call others teabaggers and as B. Hammer points out, much worse things? Considering the source, just more fake news. Hank_M: Aren't these the same people who call others teabaggers
Actually, "teabaggers" to describe members of the tea party movement was a term that originated within the tea party movement itself. Actually, you're making stuff up again, kiddiez.
And spreading a homosexual slur. Z, you continue to be dishonest and annoying.
The tea party wanted their members to tea bag (send tea bags) to congress and wore tea bags on their hats. However the slur, teabaggers, was first used by Rachel Maddow followed by Anderson Cooper. No surprise there. If anyone would know the slur, those two would lead the pack. Hank_M: The tea party wanted their members to tea bag (send tea bags) to congress and wore tea bags on their hats.
To tea bag someone, using the noun as a verb, IS the sexual innuendo. Anderson Cooper: “It’s hard to talk when you’re tea bagging.” Well, y'all are the experts.

No, It was a slur provided by a homosexual TV commentator named Anderson Cooper, whose mother was a billionaire,
That is incorrect. Tea Partiers said they were tea bagging before it became impossible for news reporters to keep a straight face when reporting on it. However, it was rather juvenile (funny, but juvenile), so don't consider this a full-throated defense of tea bagging. We'll leave that to you.
Oh, andwhile Anderson Cooper recognizes that he reaped many advantages from growing up in a rich family, he did not inherit any of his mother's money. He made his own fortune. The News Junkie: Now it appears that the ugly term was attributed to Trump but not spoken by Trump.
Of course he said it. There is no evidence he said it.
Washpo broke the "story" attributing it to "several people briefed on the meeting." Again, anonymous sources "briefed" on an a meeting they did not attend. But we really should appoint a special counsel to be sure.
Of course he did.
Republicans Perdue and Cotton who heard Trump's 'shithole' comments plead amnesia, while Graham said he called Trump out at the time, tacitly confirming the account. In other words, Sen. Graham did not directly confirm what was said.
Mislead much, kiddiez? Z, regardless of whatever Trump does or doesn't do, that lying bitch you and your pals voted for will never sit behind a desk in the Oval Office.
For finishing off the Clintons, he will forever have my thanks and those of millions of normal Americans. Dems have been trying to convince us (and the EU) for the past 36 months that Africa WAS full of shithole countries, which is why they had to migrate from there. So if Trump is wrong, they can go back now?
Actually, it is STILL not clear if it was accurate or not. Now I hear that it was a quote from a Democratic aide. Also, Durbin is a repeat offender when it comes to lying...he was even called out during the Obama Administration for making things up.
I say, if you can't get the truth (2 Republican Senators said it did not happen, others say it did), then you just have to dump the whole thing and stop discussing. This one stumps me. Not that the communist shithead Durbin would gleefully run to the nearest cameras to shout this and call it racism. Not that the MSM would just as gleefully prop this stupid meme up. No! What stumps me is that anyone thinks Haiti, for example, or most countries in Africa are NOT shitholes. Or maybe more to the point in the context of this discussion; that the U.S. should seek out and bring in poor illiterate immigrants from these shithole countries.
Our country is committing cultural and ethnic suicide and the Democrats are unhappy that we aren't doing it faster. I believe The Zero called Libya exactly the term Durbin the Dork used. And what did LBJ call the "people of color" he said would vote Democrat forever if you just gave them enough freebies?
What a bunch of whiners. Kind of makes me wonder how Lyndon Johnson may have referred to our ally South Viet Nam
For those who argue they are not shit holes, I wish they would visit one (say Haiti) and live like a denizen of one. Report back in 6 months if youlive that long and tell us what you think.
Disease, filth, crime, famine, religious fanaticism, tribal warfare, crumbling to non-existent infrastructure and/or rampant narcotic abuse. How are they not shit holes? And why is it wrong to tell it like it is? Quoting from Chicago Tribune:(http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-shithole-countries-durbin-20180112-story.html):
QUOTE: Democratic U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin on Friday ripped President Donald Trump for using "hate-filled, vile and racist" language when talking about immigrants from Haiti and Africa, even as Trump took to Twitter to deny he made the comments. From everything I've heard, he was talking about people immigrating from "sh*tholes" (if he indeed said that), not the people themselves so even if he did say it, I don't see how it's hate-filled or racist. Then we hear that several countries were offended by those comments. I find that interesting because unless your country was named as a sh*thole, why would you be offended unless you assumed he was talking about yours? I heard that Haiti was offended! There's no way to describe Haiti as anything other than a "sh*thole." And this is why Durbin was offended about what Trump supposedly said (again from the Chicago Tribune): QUOTE: I cannot believe that in the history of the White House and of that Oval Office, any president has ever spoken the words that I personally heard our president speak yesterday... This is just plain dishonest, disingenuous, and stupid. Johnson talked about "n*ggers" and had staff meetings while he was on the can, W called Adam Clymer an "major-league *sshole", Biden said passing Obamacare was "a big f*cking deal", and Hillary was famous for her potty mouth, and Bill is known for Oval Office escapades with Monica Lewinsky. My thought is that the only reason for Durbin to leak this is to cause an international incident to get at Trump. This happened in a private meeting and except for policy decisions made or not made, everything else should have stayed in the room. I don't see why anybody would have a private meeting with Durbin (or likely any Democrat) again. I would either tape all meetings, bring the press in for all meetings, or not have meetings with them again. If Trump actually did say it, I wish he had used another term, but there are some countries that are so obviously fit that description (eg. Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Zimbabwe), that I have a hard time worrying about it. This is just more subterfuge to distract our attention from all the great things that are happening because of Trump. Actually, I had hoped Trump did say it as that is precisely what most Trump supporters see in our current immigration mess. We seem to accept no immigrants except the most wretched 3rd world escape artists that are mostly looking for a free ride through life that their current government won't or can't provide. The fact that the uniparty does not understand the political environment they are in does indicate that they need to resign and go home. Perhaps living among the deplorables will get them in sync with reality once again.
indyjonesouthere: We seem to accept no immigrants except the most wretched 3rd world escape artists that are mostly looking for a free ride through life that their current government won't or can't provide.
Yeah, awful people. Another day, another lying Democrat news fluster.
Big deal. The UFO item was more interesting. The conclusions in this book by a couple of rocket scientists from Huntsville's Redstone Arsenal: https://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Planetary-Defense-Extra-Terrestrial-Invasion/dp/1581124473/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515851878&sr=8-1&keywords=planetary+defense Basically, there's no defense ergo our governments can't do their job. Plus, any knowledge that one government can glean advantages that government over others. I love that he said it, if he sad it. We live in PC Land, a mind control regime, that constrains free speech, and thinking, and precludes one from saying "Shit" when one has a mouthful of any foul PC propaganda. So, the brilliant President Trump said "Shit" for all of us.
GOP Rep. Mia Love, child of Haitian immigrants: The President's comment about 'shithole countries' was racist
The first and most important step is to quit taking these assholes seriously. It's a courtesy they haven't earned. Call them the scumbag liars they are and go from there. This charade of pretending leftists are anything more than the scum of the earth has to end.
