Ted Kennedy's Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 was designed to do exactly what it is doing; to flood the country with people who would need lifelong welfare and would thuis be Democrat voters for generations. He knew and the Democrats knew this would alienate middle class and working class Americans and that it would take boatloads of immigrants to achieve this sea change in their voter base. We are now living with their destructive and incredibly effective anti-American legislation.

Our MSM has been complicit in a coverup of the massive negative impact of illegal immigration and legal immigration from "shithole" countries since 1965. It took events like Kate Steinle's murder to defeat the blackout of negative news about immigration. The stats are terrible and we have been shafted by Kennedy and his cohorts on the left. Our prisons are full of immigrant criminals and our cities are full of immigrant criminals not yet convicted. Our welfare costs are out of control pushing us towards bankruptcy with massive numbers of immigrants on welfare. We are the laughing stock of the world because of our birthright citizenship and perhaps a 100,000 pregnant women a year come to the U.S. just to have a baby born here giving them and their relatives a foot in the door for immigration. Our SS system is overloaded with immigrant retirees many of whom did not need to complete the SS requirements that citizens are by law required to complete. All across the country if you are hit by a uninsured driver it is more likely than not that it will be one of Kennedy's legal or illegal immigrants who does it. Ditto for DUI drivers. Ditto for rapists. double ditto for terrorist attacks.

Kennedy's legacy lives on and may well sink our country into the hellhole that describes much of the world.
