We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Here is the Snopes take on that:

I know someone who personally saw one of Hillary's temper tantrums. Worked on her 2012 campaign. (Strongly did NOT support her in 2016, was a Bernie guy.)
I don't know anyone who has seen her temper tantrums, but I do know someone who did prep work for her appearance somewhere when she was First Lady. It was an appearance to commemorate the arrival of King Juan Carlos from Spain, and she represented the US.
The person I know ran the hospitality for the venue. She said the King was gracious, and had very few needs, and only a small room with water.
She said, by contrast, Hillary sent a prep entourage filled with condescending and demanding individuals with no sense of humor. She wanted a large room with certain, specific, foods and drink available. She also demanded ferns along the dais because she was concerned about her ankles.
My friend made a joke, suggesting "why don't we just strap ferns to her ankles? That would save time and money." The lead of the entourage replied curtly "that's not even funny."
Snopes has become less reliable on political matters, and this is a good example. I think they are likely correct that the sources reporting this did not have good evidence, but a lot of them believed the others and went with it. That's not quite the same thing as "false," however, and if one reads the whole entry it turns out that some of the pieces do line up that she was extremely upset at Lauer for only being partly in the tank for her. The denials are all by people who have reason to deny even if it's true.
Also, the quote was not specified to this incident and could have occurred elsewhere. Or, it may never have been said anywhere. Accusations of occasionally throwing things have been steady since White House days, but that does not make any individual accusation true.
Some day people will feel safe enough to tell the truth. Donna Brazile had some courage.
