We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Brian Ross was suspended without pay for one month, not fired. So basically he gets an extended Christmas and New Years holiday. I'm fairly sure he won't be outside of Macy's passing a cup, or busking in the subway with Christmas Carols, or enrolling in the SNAP program.
Firing his sorry ass would have been more appropriate and better for business as well - assuming that credibility and reputation is still considered an asset to the business model of any media organization, which is debatable in view of its notable absence peer wide.
I'm very pleased to find that Neo-Neocon has (apparently) gotten over her hatred of President Trump. I didn't find a single snarky comment in that article. Not that she would care, but I may start reading her blog again.
If Michael Flynn can be found guilty of no other crime than lying to the FBI, then can the FBI - Mueller, Rosenstein, and other individuals on the Trumpolition Team, be found guilty of no other crime than lying to Congress? Wouldn't it be delicious if they showed up to testify and were led out for a nice 'perp walk' in handcuffs?
