Understand that they mean the USA. They want to live in a socialist country of their own making and what better place then right here. Why? Because there is a lot of other people's money to make it work for a few years. Ask yourself why both the Democrats and the Republicans find it acceptable that we have a federal tax rate of 39% and when asked, begged, and elected to cut taxes they still can't do it. You may not be interested in socialism but socialism is interested in you, or more to the point in your money and assets.

Socialism is the ideology of choice for people who haven't gotten over resentment of their parents for not satisfying all their needs. I think that's why it's so common among callow young people. When you find a socialist in his 40s or above, you're looking at a more serious case of arrested development.

I think less competitive youts just fear failure too. Socialism is an appealing security blanket for a while. The 40+ set are usually either losers who fear adulthood or women who marry into money. Guess the latter feel guilty or something.

Does anyone else hate our state department or is it just me who recognizes the fact that most of it's PR work is done right here in the lower 48. They are worthless overseas. Learned a long time ago if you are in trouble in a foreign country our consulate is the last place to look for help! Anytime, anywhere they only take care of themselves. It is really time we stand up for the Kurds--no matter how badly Israel wants to control the oil in that region. At least the Kurds would be better able to manage the operation than any Iraqi ever has. We just don't ever seem to show up in any meaningful way when it counts with these smaller groups i.e. Hungary 1956.

You are being invaded. It could easily be stopped if your leaders had any brains and guts. They do not. Therefore sooner or later it must end in war. Call it civil war or revolt or an insurrection it will and must happen. If it happens soon you have a chance of winning if it is delayed long enough then it is likely that the invaders will win.
