We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I hated prairie dogs when i lived in Colorado. They were allowed to destroy whole green belts that used to have beautiful wild flowers and prairie grasses. But then they are the animal version of Democrats.
Eco jackasses always brought out the grade school kids to protest the mass poisoning of the villages so the city couldn't do their jobs and keep the prairie dogs in a limited area. Those black plastic fences did nothing to stop their advance
Prairie dogs are not dogs, are not cute, and are destructive...they make for fat coyotes though.
That photo looks like last week in Colorado--record high 84 and snow the next day. It is great to live in Colorado.
I was out in Breckenridge weekend before last. I got snowed on. Wasn't prepared for that as far as clothing went. Low 20's and scraping a windshield. I find it promising though. Bring on the winter. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
