Carlson's act is to get some liberal/progressive to come on and ask pointed questions. To give an honest answer would be to expose hidden motives or otherwise alienate big chunks of the American public.

The sophisticated leftists are almost always are on to the game and desperately avoids a direct answer. The important ones seem to avoid booking, leaving second stringers like this guy.

Then there are the true believers who are honest and forthright about their beliefs and motives. I feel sorry for many of them. When the day comes that they come to their senses and try to get a job, their moment of fame will be a boat anchor on their job prospects.
