'feminist men' are so often corrupt because the whole feminist man schtick is a phony facade undertaken to manipulate women.

A gentleman who legitimately cares for women would not try such a deceit.

Excuse me but isn't thinking only of ones self a feminist characteristic? What did you think (modern) feminism was? It is not about being a mother and a spouse it is about self gratification and getting more. It would appear that Mr Whedon followed the feminist model completely.

As the feminist movement was originally defined, the push was to allow women into previously masculine jobs IF THAT IS WHAT THE WOMEN WANTED. It was only later (about the '70s) that the toxic feminists arose, who wanted to push all women into the paid workforce and have any offsprings hived off to the nearest dayhome. Indeed, in Canada, there were those "feminists" who argued - fortunately unsuccessfully - that a man should be taxed on the benefit accruing from having a stay-at-home wife. Absolutely no consideration was given to what said stay-at-home wife was doing, whether it was raising the children, serving (unpaid) in the community, or both.

I still consider myself a feminist; but I have long broken from their increasingly rancid dogmas.

A biblical interpretation for inter-racial marriage is not actual verses that condemn the practice outright in multiple places in very direct language.

Poor interpretation is common (just look at Osteen's 'prosperity preaching' - not Biblical). However, here are verses that need no 'interpretation' to be understood:

1 Timothy 1:9-11
Romans 1:25-27
1 Corinthians 6:8-10

Notice these are all from the New Testament. Also, if we go to Genesis, it is very clear from the beginning of Creation that God created man & woman to be with each other. Stated very clearly.

Sexual immorality of any kind (not just homosexuality) was preached against because it is destructive to the soul. Pre-marital sex, sexual affairs, homosexuality...all of it destructive to the way God intended for human beings to be. He intended one man for one woman.

With the entrance of sin into the world, sexual immorality took place. It created harm, sadness, destructive behavior. To pretend as if homosexuality is absent of harm - would you say pre-marital sex is absent of harm? affairs outside marriage are absent of harm?

I lump all of this behavior together into one temptation of 'sexual immorality.' Homosexuality is easier to see than the others. It is possible to hide the fact that you might be having an affair or sleeping around as a young, single person. But when homosexuality is celebrated and seen out in the public square, it becomes the most visual and obvious sexual immorality to many. Thus, the focus.

I feel sorry for people in homosexual relationships. I have friends who are gay. I want them to have the full life experience: wife/husband and children. And they will not. They've convinced themselves of happiness, when they don't even know what God intended for them. They are mimicking what they see in a man/woman relationship. And I'm sorry, it's just not the same.

There is nothing specific about miscegenation in the Bible, especially in the New Testament which says the exact opposite, e.g. Galatians 3:28. (The verses in the Old Testament are talking about the Jews remaining a holy people and not marrying with outsiders, not because of their skin color, but because they would be tempted to adopt the pagan religious practices of their spouse and worship the idols of other groups.) There is, however, overwhelming scripture in the Bible regarding the sinfulness of homosexuality (and sexual immorality in general), from the first book in the Bible, Genesis 19, to the last chapter of the last book of the Bible, Revelation 22.

As for Christians being unable to approve of homosexual relations, that is spelled out directly in Romans 1:32. This is why a Christian baker, florist, or photographer will refuse to participate in a same-sex wedding.

That's nice. And the Bible indicates that when a woman has her period she should be isolated from the community, and that Onan was punished with death for spilling his seed on the ground.

Feel free to argue with someone about their religion if you like, but it's a fact that some people have historically pointed to religion, including Christianity, to justify oppressing people because of their race. That doesn't excuse racism, anymore than pointing to your interpretation of scripture justifies other forms of hate.

Homosexuality is a mental disorder. Our psychiatric profession was bullied into denying this years ago. It should not be encouraged or accepted. The individual who suffers from this mental disorder should be accepted of course and there should be no reason to deny or abridge their rights. But it should not be mainstreamed or taught as "normal".

True for most of his designs but the Prairie style home is very livable. My preference is a craftsman style bungalow along the lines of a Greene & Greene home with all the fixtures and unique woodwork they produced. IMHO Greene & Greene homes are far superior to Wright's work.
