We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Because it is so interesting and intelligent. I do not always agree with him but he is a darn good speaker. Good explanation of the Trump phenomenon. Stay for the questions at the end.
I voted for Trump because I wanted to vote for Trump, a successful businessman. So that is one thing Tucker got wrong. It's the reason I trusted him in the first place.
However, I do love Tucker b/c he was the ONLY person on Fox last year who actually was good about looking at Trump honestly w/o his own opinion clouding his views. At least, that's how I saw him. He was more neutral and fair than anyone else.
Clearly he understands the body politic as well as anyone since Lee Atwater. By simply listening to people in the heartland he recognized that they had real objections to the status quo that the swells steadfastly refused/refuse to take seriously.
Dennis Miller said about terrorist "You try to kill me and I hate you. I'm funny that way." The voters just acted in their own self interest. Their funny that way.
