We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Re: When a Man in a Women’s Restroom is Finally Seen as Wrong
The transgender bathroom rights thing isn't about where the transgendered feel comfortable, it's about the Big Lie. As this woman pointed out, she's the one who feels like she's in the wrong by pointing out the truth. That's the essence of the Big Lie, not that it's a lie but that everybody knows it's a lie and everybody knows everybody knows it's a lie but they say it anyway and by saying it they're forced to admit that they are too weak and cowardly to speak the truth. That's what the left is after, not just changing the language to suit their own purposes and forcing everybody else to adopt their language, but forcing everybody else to publicly acknowledge that they are being forced and that they are powerless to stop it. It's not enough that you cry 'uncle', you have admit that you're not crying 'uncle' of your own free will.
