Political Derangement Syndromes

Is Trump Derangement Syndrome really any different from Bush Derangement Syndrome, or Reagan Derangement Syndrome, or even Nixon Derangement Syndrome?

I doubt it. It's an R-Phobia. Sensitivity training might help.

I'm not sure if it's the same, NJ. This one seems...different. The difference is that with previous derangement syndromes - including Clinton Derangement Syndrome - the person would seem okay until the hated politician's name came up in conversation. Then they would lose it.

With Trump derangement Syndrome, people seem to be doing a lot more of what psychologists call "responding to internal stimuli" (that is what they call crazy people talking to themselves on the street). People are spontaneously and hatefully bringing up Trump is a frequent and spiteful way. This is a self-starting, self-motivated derangement syndrome and people are really into it.

It's also really unpleasant. The other day, out of the blue, a friend said "Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds are no doubt incredibly happy to be missing the Trump Administration". What? Where did that come from? These women are dead, Carrie Fisher was relatively young, please try to have a bit of respect.

The hysterical McCarthyism is something new as well - the constant accusations of treason and invoking The Russians at every turn. It's making me tired of my friends.

It's a con. It's a con that the left has gotten away with hundreds of times in the past 50 years or so. They all show up in front of cameras and accuse, race bait, cry victim, call names and it wears on the national psyche. We forever remember the names and the accusations and all the other horrible things that were said but forget that it was all made up. Just like all the cons we have seen where Muslim women's hijab was pulled off or someone mysteriously heard someone say the "n" word but a hundred cameras and microphones failed to pick it up. This is just part of the con. We enable. Our Rinos benefit from it. The left benefits from it. The common man pays through the nose for it.

Trump may or may not do good things for our country and our citizens but the left wing con man will win and when they do they will take paybacks. The left will gladly destroy America rather than let the deplorables win.

Massive student debt

Spotty or non-existent work history

Patients with TURD are very resistant to treatment, and dangerous in large groups. Any possibility of treatment requires that they be separated from their hive-mind support apparatus; they cannot begin the process of accepting reality in the presence of encouragement towards delusion and irrationality.

I think it really is different this time. Trump is a real threat to the house of cards the Left calls reality. Bush wasn't a threat to all the media, academy, Hollywood has created. Trump is calling their bluff, and you can see how frightened and desperate they are. If Trump can show the younger Americans what the US economy can accomplish once unleased, it will be a real education to a lot of people who have been living through Bush, Obama economic doldrums.
