Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Please consider using another video player for your site. Vimeo does not work with Windows 7 (even though it's still the most popular operating system in the world). (I wonder why that is. Perhaps they plan on turning a profit by selling your data and spying on you.)

Windows 8 is still buggy and slow, and Windows 10 is really just pure spyware.

I can't think of a video I would want to see bad enough to totally trash my remaining privacy by updating to Win 10.

When Win 7 support ends in 2020, I will likely drop Windows entirely and go to Ubuntu. By then I will no longer need my Windows specific technical software, so this won't be a burden.

I will never forgive Horowitz for the arrogance and destructive hubris displayed by him and Ron Radosh toward Diana West and her book "American Betrayal" when it was released. I don't believe he even read it as his endless complaints made no sense nor could I find within her highly foot-noted tome the specific details he disparaged.

The book parallels the existence of communists/Communists in the government from 1930s on…with the infiltration of Muslims at high-levels in our government today. In both cases, the risks to our Constitutional Republic are multiple, as we are now seeing, with a Federal government that has grown out of control to inhibit the individual freedoms our Founders believed to be bestowed by God.

Perhaps it's because he is a red-diaper baby converted into a Conservative much later in life, therefore he thinks he knows more about such thought and has deigned himself and Mr. Radosh superior to all others who have held such political beliefs from youth when they studied history and civics.

He still owes her an apology. He is still an egotistical jerk.
