As far as I know, there was never any "hacked election." That is complete bullshit, a non-story. The story is the non-story. All I know is that Podesta got stupidly hacked from a phishing effort which resulted in some embarassment, and rightly so, to him and his team. All of the wikileaks info was true and accurate, and nobody disputes that.

Whatever went on - if anything - it's just ordinary spy games that all spies play. Putin is still reportedly pissed about the CIA messing with his last election. How's this:

Great meme, but it would be more accurate to say "... tell the truth about Democrats".

What an unbelievable jackass Obama is during this press conference. Fact is, if Russia did do the hacking they did this country an unbelievable favor in revealing what the Democrats really were.

Of course it doesn't matter who did the hacking. Regardless the hack was two things: 1) a wrong both morally and legally and 2) illuminating on the contempt that high-level Democrats have for the United States and her people.

The Democrats were congratulatory when Sarah Palin's e-mail was hacked. The perpetrator was caught and convicted and yet no Democrat was asked to condemn him or his actions. Rather, they slobbered over the possibility of finding salacious or scandalous evidence to use against Palin during the election. Just as with the Podesta/DNC hacks, it was obviously illegal and wrong, but I would have been interested as a voter to know if something truly ugly, unethical, or illegal was hiding in her communications once they were public.

This is strictly hypothetical but let's presume the voting machine companies owned by George Soros had planned to trickle in additional Hillary votes over the course of Election Day but something prevented this or at least reduced the numbers. The Democrats can hardly admit they were prevented from committing voter fraud by parties unknown. They are blaming the Russians but it could have been anyone including DNC staffers.

A foreign adversary hacked into the DNC, as well as into the accounts of both Democratic and Republican political advisers. They then released the information in a manner to maximize the damage to the Democratic contender. This is a threat to U.S. sovereignty, and to American democracy.

Trump voiced approval of the leaks during the campaign, and by Republicans acting as if it is of no importance, it signals to America's enemies that it will not defend itself against such intrusions.

Interesting note. Net approval for Putin among Republicans has gone up 50 points.

That is incorrect. Independent cyber-organizations have traced the hack to Fancy Bear, an organization with known ties to the Kremlin.

Without naming sources Julian Assange intimated that the info Wikileaks posted came from an insider, not as a result of some "hack".
