We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Is true. We stole your election because we were afraid, very much afraid, of Hillary Roodham Clinton. She was the only man who could have stopped our global expansion, saved the Planet and made the world safe for democrats. So we had to stop her, and we did, by leaking on Podesta email, knowing that hundreds of thousands of people would turn on Mrs Clinton.
Since we are talking about fake news, can we also explore the dozens of instances that Yahoo and others pushed as "news", like when celebrities tried to convince us all to vote for Hillary because it was "time for a woman" to be in the Oval Office. I don't remember this same amount of interest when the woman was a conservative like Sarah Palin. I remember many of those same people and outlets screaming about how unqualified and dangerous she was.
Then there was Katy Perry baring her fake oobs to try to convince us all to vote for Hillary. You've come a long way, baby!
There is fake news alright. Some of it likely benefited Trump and a lot more benefited Hillary, not only the stories written about Trump's racism and anti-homosexual agenda (he is pro-same sex marriage, btw) but also the ocean of ink that SHOULD HAVE been written about Hillary's scandals that was quietly spiked by mainstream media outlets determined to ignore the truth so that she would seem electable.
The Reflexive Liberal
Jim: WaPo stories are Fake News (nothing to prove Russian intent to affect the election):
Close, but not quite. The U.S. intelligence community HAS determined that the Russians did intend to sow confusion in the U.S. elections. They probably didn't realize how gullible was the American public.
I and the Boss raised six kids, now all AARP-eligible, and healthy, (somewhat) wealthy and a little wiser. We dealt with this syndrome in all of them until they hit the after-college world-of-work and had to put up or shut up. It's a juvenile thing in hillaryites, born I suspect from always having had someone else to look to look after you. Look at that guy Podesta for example. He's been milking the Clinton tit for going on 30 years, virtually his entire adult life.
