Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Deconstruction died when academics deconstructed stuff they didn't like.
The real stuff is actually virtuoso reading. It amounts to looking at what influences not only the variables but also the coefficients. Derrida is about the only one who actually liked the stuff he analyzed. Opposition to Hillary’s Refugee Expansion Even Among Democrats But they will still vote for the woman planning their destruction. Hillary thinks of Merkel as her hero and see what that has done for Germany. Insanity!

Bird Dog: Doesn't the US have specific immigration laws?
Yes, though the law and the Constitution give a great deal of discretion to the executive. When I saw this Maggies Farm posting before any entries, I noticed the "Crooked Hillary mess in aisle 4" situation, and knew Zach would be onit with his bucket of bleachbit.
99% of Zach's statistics are made up. Zach says there is no evidence that Crooked Hillary approved massive uranium sales to the Russians in exchange for $150 million donated through Canada (which doesn't require donor disclosure) to the clinton crime family foundation. except that she approved the sale. Zach's job is internet troll cleanup for Crooked hillary. He/she/zir apparently uses pre-scripted postings which can be cut-and-pasted for each of Crooked hillary's known crooked activities. Very efficient, and lets him/her/zir be efficient at covering bimbo and crooked hillary eruptions on multiple sites. What kind of person could defend this sleaze? Why does Zach's employer think Maggies Farm is important enough to assign a troll? Must be that Maggies has hit the big time to have its own troll!!! CONGRATULATION MAGGIES FARM !!! jaybird: Zach says there is no evidence that Crooked Hillary approved massive uranium sales to the Russians in exchange for $150 million donated through Canada (which doesn't require donor disclosure) to the clinton crime family foundation. except that she approved the sale.
Donald Trump inaccurately suggests Clinton got paid to approve Russia uranium deal Zach, how do politicians get enormously rich on government salaries? The Corrked clintons claimed to be "dead broke" upon leaving the White House because of legal expenses defending bill's hotpants bimbo eruptions. Now they are fabulously rich, on a senator's salary. What are they selling? How is bill worth $18 million for serving as "honorary trustee" of a for profit Walden university which has internet PhDs and is under investigation for fraud? Maybe it has something to do with "help" crookedly getting them a $50 million taxpayer-funded funding? You deny $150 million given to them has anything to do with granting approval for sale of uranuim to the Russians, who are increasing their nuclear arsenal at this very moment? Maybe the million-dollar+ "donations" to the clinton crime family from dictatorial regimes had something to do with arms sales approvals to those countries by her State Department? Maybe hearing her voice for 15 minutes isn't worth $500,000? Maybe it is good to be a friend of Chelsea's, so you can corrupt the government taxpayers to pay to give you a government contract? Why would you support a person who claims a terrible rapist who beat a 12-year old girl into a coma and raped her, did it because the girl "wanted it"? You must have a very unamerican sense of ethics and values. Or maybe you need the Crooked hillary troll job so badly because the economy is so bad you can't get another job?
There is a song from the musical Fiorello! called the little tin box. A crooked politician describes how he got rich by putting his pennies in a "little tin box that a little tin key unlocks", if I remember correctly. You should listen to it. The crooked clinton crime family puts "donations" from favor-seekers into their big gold box that big political favors unlocks. From now on, if I pay for an internet PhD from Bill$Hill's (Zach's sponsors) internet university (Walden university in minnesota), you will have to call me Dr. Jaybird, PhD Maybe my diploma will be signed by Bill !!! Then you won't be able to disagree with anything I say, because there will be a an antitruth clinton-approved forcefield around me.
Maybe I can then get a cushy job like Chelsea for $750000 per year as a special correspondent, or a few billion dollar climate change contracts, so long as I agree to give a third of it back to Bill. No problem, it is just free taxpayer money, and there is always more where that came from, as long as crooked Hillary is elected. Dr. Jaybird, PhD

Many of Walden University's degree programs are accredited, so once you earn your PhD, you can rightly use the title in the field.

jaybird: how do politicians get enormously rich on government salaries?
In the case of the Clintons, we have their tax returns. Their primary income has been public speaking and writing books. jaybird: How is bill worth $18 million for serving as "honorary trustee" of a for profit Walden university The usual; prestige, celebrity, connections. You keep trying to claim that the ordinary nexus of money and politics is illegal. It's not. Yes, the nexus of money and politics is a problem of influence, but it isn't limited to just the Clintons, but endemic to the system. The Clintons have provided their tax returns, so we can see where they get their money. Trump has not. jaybird: You deny $150 million given to them has anything to do with granting approval for sale of uranuim to the Russians The Clintons didn't get the money. It went to the Clinton Foundation. The Russians can't export the uranium from the U.S. without a special license, which they do not have.

QUOTE: Turning the USA Totalitarian for the 'Better Good' ...We already knew that Justice offered immunity to at least five central figures in the private email probe Of course. That allowed the FBI to compel testimony which might have implicated Clinton. QUOTE: How else could one rationally explain any of this than the above—that the FBI and Justice were indeed being used by one political party and its leaders to keep the other out of power? Sure. It's more rational to claim that there is a vast conspiracy among career investigators in the FBI, including James Comey. Most legal analysts already knew beforehand that there was no evidence sufficient for indicting Clinton. Most legal analysts already knew beforehand that there was no evidence sufficient for indicting Clinton.
#5 Zachriel on 2016-10-07 09:59 ------- W#hat are you basing that claim on? Or you could go to the text of one of the laws she broke:
QUOTE: (f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both. mudbug: Or you could go to the text of one of the laws she broke
Case law doesn't support an indictment. The question was whether there was a conspiracy. As many legal analysts thought that a prosecution was not warranted based on the available evidence, claiming that the only rational conclusion is a conspiracy by career investigators in the FBI is unwarranted. Presumably, you also support prosecuting Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice's aides. Is that correct?

Sure, if there's half as much evidence as there is against Hillary.
Do you have no self-respect at all? This repulsive creature you worship is one of the most crooked and incompetent people in public life. The Watergate prosecutor fired her for being the most unethical and incompetent lawyer he'd ever worked with. He regarded her as essentially a pathological liar. He refused to act as a reference for her. Is that what you admire about her? You know the Dems use government as a weapon. You know it and you approve, remember?

Colin Powell had classified emails on his personal AOL account. Many of the emails were not properly archived, as required by law. Wilbur Hassenfus: This repulsive creature you worship is one of the most crooked and incompetent people in public life. We don't worship Clinton, and there are many valid complaints to be made about her — but making stuff up is not one of them. Wilbur Hassenfus: The Watergate prosecutor fired her for being the most unethical and incompetent lawyer he'd ever worked with. False. As this has been debunked for years, this suggests that the sources you rely upon for information are flawed.

I've already said to (one of) you that if they broke the law or regulations in force at the time they should be charged, but equating their conduct to Hillary's is dishonest (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/mar/09/hillary-clinton/hillary-clinton-said-my-predecessors-did-same-thin/)
I don't think your claim about case law is accurate: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/05/kristian-saucier-investigation-hillary-clinton-223646 https://usuncut.com/politics/clinton-email-secrecy-double-standard/ https://theintercept.com/2015/02/18/destroyed-by-the-espionage-act/ So what you, and Comey, Lynch, et al are saying is that it's not against the law to put classified information on your own server outside the classified system and give access to that information to people who have no clearance, destroy evidence under subpoena, and then lie about it.

The law you cite has been on the books since 1917, so it would certainly apply to Colin Powell. mudbug: I don't think your claim about case law is accurate We cited independent legal experts. As for your linkfest, the examples include intent to disseminate classified information. mudbug: So what you, and Comey, Lynch, et al are saying is that it's not against the law to put classified information on your own server outside the classified system You don't seem to understand the problem. Secret information is not supposed to be on email of any sort, not even on a dotgov address. None of the emails were properly marked classified. Though three had portion markings, at least two of those were improperly marked. Most of the classified information was innocuous, and often found in publicly available sources. At least some of it really shouldn't have been on the email system, but it's not unusual for that to occur. None of it shows any intent.

Ms. Rodham's Wall Street transcripts are out (hacked of course as she refused to release them because they make her look like a complete and utter pompous jerk.) and boy does she sound like a rich elitist jerk going out of her way to kiss the Wall Street (her biggest donors) asses.
Ms. Rodham is part of our problem. She has never had an original thought and gives speeches targeted to her audience while in public saying the exact opposite. Hypocrisy at its worst. Obviously we know why the fraud refused to release her transcripts to Wall Street. She is ONE OF THEM! It should be the topic of the Sunday debate, but it won't be. Nothing surprising there. Trump also released his "transcripts". Nothing surprising there either. The War on Cash:
There are a lot of people from Miami to Cape Hatteras who are going to learn that cash is king. All the non-cash alternatives require a functioning electrical, communication grid from end to end with no hick ups. Just last night, I took my garbage to the dump. They don't take cash, just checks or credit cards. The machine was apparently going nuts so they let me drop my 3 bags without charge save a whole $6. (I take mine to the dump as I only collect that much once every 30-60 days. New Urbs: Death by chain store
Funny how there is no one on that panel who seems to be an actual business person. Nor anyone who looks like they might point out that the cities generally make opening a small storefront a very costly proposition better afforded by large chain stores. So about normal for new urbanists. Just people who want to force others to live by their delusions of socialism without any actual consideration of reality. Often the big businesses are given tax and/or utility breaks as well.
"Clinton Sought Pentagon, State Department Contracts for Chelsea’s Friend"
QUOTE: the Socialist party, as I shall try to show you, only the office holder. At least, those who are not office holders will, under Socialism, have the hardest kind of a time.” --Socialism; a speech delivered in Faneuil hall, February 7th, 1903, by Frederic J. Stimson Of course, if you are friends with the office holder, or their family, then you don't have such a hard time either. Isn't socialism grand? JK Brown: Isn't socialism grand?

female smart in a lot of their ways(Mothers,Grandmothers ect.) and me also think male as smart in their stuff {Dads ,Grandads}. \=^ even flatdicks*(HA, Life is not all about book stuffs. Is it? Makes for good stuff in life. On the Old Master thing, go look at the "Rembrandts" at the MFA in Boston. Went there once with a girlfriend, a painter. I was looking at one of the "Rembrandts", thinking "What the hell is this thing?!". She saw the look in my face and told me to pick which one out of the four or five wasn't a forgery.
It wasn't hard. A couple of the fake ones are laughably bad: Misproportioned faces and so on. IIRC they had a buyer in Paris in the 20s or 30s, a rich well-connected homosexual with a drinking problem, who was known to be an easy mark. I seem to recall reading about that in Hoving's book about art forgeries, but it's been a while. Death by chain store? ALL GENERALITIES, INCLUDING THIS ONE, ARE FALSE.
A "local" chain, HEB groceries, sat on an empty store in my neighborhood for over 10 years, letting the surrounding strip mall fall into disuse and decay. Then that EVIL NATIONAL MEGACHAIN, Wal-Mart, bought the property, demolished the old building, and erected a Neighborhood Wal-Mart that has revitalized the whole corner. Now I have a grocery store I can walk to, one that opens at 6am, in case I run out of milk or OJ. Of course, if your neighborhood is being overrun by Abercrombie & Fitch clones, selling overpriced hobo garb, you may be suffering death by chain store. re Children inherit their intelligence from their mother
Yeah. Mrs feeblemind tells me this all the time. But there has to be more to it than this. Otherwise, where are all the women math and science majors? The claim about children inheriting their intelligence from their mothers has been debunked before. It's one of those questionable studies that finds its way around the internet from time to time. The commenters beneath the article point out some of the flaws. Here's a link to another article from Forbes summarizing some of the problems with the claim. http://www.forbes.com/sites/emilywillingham/2016/09/16/no-research-has-not-established-that-you-inherited-your-intelligence-from-your-mother/#7f54a57a4551
