We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The mainstream media will never recover what credibility they had left (it wasn't much) after this campaign. Had CNN on this morning and it broadcast one anti-Trump story after another. The liberal talking heads are almost rabid in their hatred of the man.

I used to watch the MSM news shows every day. Haven't in years. There's not even a pretense of impartiality any longer.

They're idiots caught in a Chinese finger trap. Any kid age 5 or over can figure out how to defeat the trap, but these people had any intelligence educated out of them. (As Dennis Prager is fond of saying, it takes a college education to be this stupid.)

Still think Trump is going to take about 45 states in the election. The more the corrupt media does stuff like this, the more people are waking up and seeing Trump is the one to vote for.

Anyone seen any stats as to how much anti-Trump money has been spent? As of May, media reports it was @$75M. It would be interesting to compare to past cycles.
Of course, I'm guessing it pales in comparison to the media piling on. I realize the media is out of control, and desperately competing for traffic, constantly ramping up the perverse and fake outrage. But, don't the spin doctors of malice and hyperbole realize that they are undermining themselves? Don't they know that their efforts are a wash? I don't know maybe they are right, maybe minorities and millennials are not capable of recognizing a shill when they see one.
