WaPo: Trump admits Obama born in USA, but erroneously blames rumor on Hillary

Related, for many years Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) did indeed claim to have been born in Kenya. Even his bio on this first book said so. The Rickroll - Brilliant and amusing tricksteration. The Donald is having fun. Like I say, not a fan but have to cast my meaningless vote for some fool, so why not him? National politics in America was a reality show long before TV.

So many bits and pieces to prove this came from the Hillary campaign. Maybe not directly out of her mouth in public, but her campaign pushed this as well as the idea that he was Muslim. She cannot hang this on Trump nor the Republicans. ALL Hillary.

This is the day the Hillary campaign sinks to the bottom and Trump snowballs to victory.

The evidence that her campaign is connected to the birther stuff is all over the place. She cannot buried it. She cannot deny it. It's out there for all to see.

I would keep a cork in your champagne until after the debates. If Trump can get through those without bumbling, I would think he will win. I hope he is preparing for those, the cough, cough, 'moderators' will be out to get him. Hillary is no fool. Plus she usually has a device in her ear. Am I right? (smile)

Don't forget that Obama's aunt in Africa said numerous times that she was present at Obama's birth in Africa. All of the birth certificates produced by Obama have been proved to be fraudulent. I have a real birth certificate and needed it to comply with my I-9 form and to get a passport. How can any American not have a birth certificate and have to make a fake one? Obama used a SS of a dead man. Who does that? Hillary did use the birther arguement before Trump but perhaps she was right. Obama spent over a million dollars in lawyers fees to suppress his birth certificate or at least to prevent the state of Hawaii from saying anything about it. Obama applied for college and student aid claiming he was born in Kenya. Did he lie then or is he lying now?

And why could the press get all the republican GPAs and so forth almost immediately, but not Obama's?
There's more holes in this guy's background than in my last packet of swiss cheese.
And why didn't the conservative side of the aisle dig up this info.
And, and, and, and.
Sure is a lotta stuff we still don't know about our loyal president.

Usually Jake Tapper is pretty straight up so I might exclude him, but I have no sympathy for the aggrieved news media outlets who complained about Trump's tricking them into covering military leaders endorsing him. After the DNC, they were falling all over themselves to denounce Trump's supposed 'dissing' of a 'Gold Star Father and Mother' - the father and mother of a Muslim vet who was killed. They did that after they ignored the Gold Star Mother who spoke at the RNC. The reason you felt bamboozled is that you had to report something you didn't want to but should have.

Attendance at Trump rallies is going through the roof. They are looking for larger venues. Meanwhile, Hillary has trouble getting anyone to show up at her events.

Also on Friday, registration closed for tickets. We haven't been told just how many tickets were distributed, but we're told the event is expected to bring in between 9,000 and 15,000 people.

The rally is currently scheduled to be held at Germain Arena in Estero. Germain Arena organizers said they will only allow about 8,000 people inside.

That fact was never a secret. However, notice the difference. The DNC fired the lone staffer and apologized to Obama, while Trump publicly propagated the lie extensively for years, and has never apologized.

Last time this came up, you claimed it was only "a supporter." You were quite adamant about that and - as is usual for you - gave no qualifiers that might soften the meaning. That was actually quiet recently, Zachriel - about 6 weeks ago.

I never have any hope of getting Zachriel to admit the least incorrectness. He lacks that ability. That may not be a conscious dishonesty, just a better-than-average flexibility with any inconvenience of reality. We all do that a little, maybe that is what is in play here.

When I answer him, it for the benefit of the rest of you.

Reports were that a Clinton volunteer worker in Iowa was involved. That would qualify as a supporter. The email was immediately denounced, and not forwarded.

If you have substantive and specific information otherwise, we'd be happy to modify our position accordingly. For instance, if you have a video of Hillary Clinton suggesting Obama was not born in the U.S., we'll take a look.

There was no analysis of how various programs create PDF files, for instance, so it can hardly be considered a comprehensive investigation.

Did you know that a majority of Trump's primary supporters believed that Obama is not president because he was not born in the U.S?

I say lets appoint a special prosecutor. This could well be the biggest fraud against the American people and our government in history. Let's get to the bottom of it. This is an important issue. If Obama was not born in the U.S. (as he first claimed and others verified) then everything he has done in his 8 years is under a cloud. Any laws he signed, executive orders, policies he set, pardons he made, all could be overturned or simply nullified. This is too important to leave it to politicians. Appoint a special prosecutor and lets find out the truth.

Agreed. Trump should direct AG Christie to investigate; 1) Soros entities funding of unlawful "protest" groups such as BLM and the various Trump rally demonstrations; 2) Benghazi; 3) Fast & Furious; 4) Obama's birth. He should make it very clear to the US just what absolute CRAP has gone on the last 8 years.

Trump's supporters in August 2015, according to a Democratic pollster, fit that description.

I'm giving you the opportunity to walk back your deceptive statement, which suggests that current Trump supporters, according to a less-biased source, fit that description.

But if you really like that sort of thing, about one-third of Obama voters in 2008 believed that George Bush was part of the 9/11 plot to bring down the Twin Towers. Which is far crazier than believing that a politician of any party might lie about his birth and early life in order to qualify to run for president.
