We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Including many or all of the 50 'experts' who signed that letter last week rebuking Trump. Looking for someone to blame for our failed policies? Look no further than the list of those who 'cannot' vote Trump. They are the biggest bunch of creeps on the planet. It's all about THEM. Not about the average American citizen.
We should be crowing happily that these people aren't supporting Trump.
It is predictable but annoying that what appears to a reasonable article actually is just another attack on Republicans. No mention of Obama or Clinton in regards to the Middle East, only Bush and McCain.
Since the Korean war we have chosen to fight a feeble war, a PC war instead of trying to win the war. Arguably the right way to fight a war is to destroy it all and kill everyone in arms and burn the houses and crops to the ground. Perhaps that is a little to biblical and it could be adjusted somewhat to be a little more humane. But until we chose to fight to win we will by default be choosing to fight endlessly. Worse if we don't beat them "over there" we will have to fight them over here.
