Clinton corruptocrats
When Isis, Iran or other terrorists launch an atomic missile or sneak an atom bomb into New York/LA ports, it is more than likely it will contain uranium sold by Clintons for "speaking fees" and other bribes to the clintons and their "foundation". discuss... It is historically and statistically quite likely that some Western city will indeed be nuked by terrorists in the future. It is what the terrorists want and as we see the West refuses to take the risks and threats seriously so it will happen. When it does happen it will change everything. We have proved that it is possible to fly two airliners into two skyscrapers and kill 3000 Americans and after awhile very few remember or care. That cannot be true for nuking a large Western city and killing 100,000 people more or less. If that city is Tel Aviv I am pretty sure we will see a retaliatory attack unleash a couple dozen nukes on select targets in the Middle East. I don't think the Israelis will be as impressed about the nuance of the Saudi Princes giving money to buy the nukes but not actually being the ones who set them off. I don't think they will spend 3 years trying to figure out if Iran was directly involved in this particular attack I would guess they would know/assume that they were and act appropriately. Right or wrong nuking a large Western city will change everything in a millisecond.
Gone, agreed that western cities will be nuked by "terrorists". But will the uranium (or its derivative plutonium) come from uranium sold to russians by hillary in exchange for speaking "fees" and very large "donation" bribes of almost $150 MILLION to the clinton crime family foundation? Hint: the russians are supposedly refining the bomb-making U235 and removing the plutonium from the Iranian reactors as part of obama's iran "deal". Another hint: Obama admits Iran is violating the obama "agreement".
In fact, it is the wealthy Liberal elite's world - today's ruling class - and we all just live in it and try to cope. They control our politics, our economy, their crony businesses, and they design our education and our medical care.

The elite ruling class keeps expanding the territory over which they control every detail of our lives. Perhaps that has always been their intent, but now it's an on-going invasion of our individual rights and the rule of law as expressed by The Constitution.
When have politicians actually walked back any area of their fiefdoms? When have they sunsetted laws they have never read or have outlived their original purpose, but are still useful to control the population? How many more rules and regulations govern us that were constructed by NON-ELECTED department heads and their minions? I know how the UK feels about the EU; we need our own BREXIT extraction from D.C. How many "executive orders" maintain this expansion rather than using the Constitutional (though tedious) process of writing and approving legislation? There WAS a reason our Founders made this process tedious. Now if the PTB don't have sufficient humanity to oversee our law-breaking, rule-flaunting population, they bring in cameras, robots and computers to monitor "their" jurisdictions -- everywhere -- to insure expansion of government employees to analyze such data. This isn't the world our forefathers fashioned when they revolted against the Brits back in the olden days. I wish I knew more about the Executive Order - the history of it. How did it get so out of control (well I know how, men of low moral character). So many of them seem to be blatantly un-constitutional. The use of them has just grown exponentially, as congress has handed over more and more power to the undemocratic bureaucracy. The bureaucracy is how the powerful elite attempt to control us. That wasn't happening fast enough, so now they have turned to the courts. Packing the bench with more of their kind. I weep for America, she was a grand idea.
B Hammer: I wish I knew more about the Executive Order - the history of it.
Well, they start with George Washington. B Hammer: So many of them seem to be blatantly un-constitutional. That's what courts are for. Executive orders can have been challenged successfully. Also, the legislature can overrule most constitutional executive orders, though presumably it would have to override a veto.

Technically a presidential executive order has zero legal value. It all depends on if the administration wants to push it and/or if the courts want to refute it. It isn't "law" and isn't regulation. If it's wording happens to coincide with written law then it is exactly as enforceable as the written law is.

The Liberal global "elite" fancy themselves Roman citizens and the rest of us are just subjects. You can be born into citizenship, gain it through an elite school, be inducted if you are local aristocracy, or buy your way in if you successfully create high tech in your dorm room. But the rest of us are to be exploited.
And like the Roman citizens near the end, the new "elite" are fighting over their piece of the pie as the barbarians overrun the empire, but they'd never take Rome...right? JK Brown: The Liberal global "elite" fancy themselves Roman citizens and the rest of us are just subjects.
Don't fool yourself. The global "elites" include both liberals and conservatives. Liberals want to extend citizenship to the barbarian tribes and integrate them into Roman society. Conservatives want to shut them out. But the world is changing, and a new civilization will arise from the old. The transition doesn't have to include a complete social collapse, though.

Re: German shepherds. Here is an interesting post on the history of the breed. http://doglawreporter.blogspot.com/2010/06/nazi-myth-transformed-german-shepherds.html?m=1
Nowadays, people seem more sensible about choosing them than in my childhood, when RinTinTin made many sappy, undisciplined people get them and many sleazy breeders produce bad dogs. They should only be in a family that can be very consistent, maintain strict discipline and give it plenty of work. Kind of like kids? Kidding aside, a golden retriever and some other working dogs like Poodles can be kept as spoiled, loved pets without becoming dangerous. Not the German Shepherd. I like the breed, but I would not keep one in my friendly neighborhood where kids abruptly wander into my yard and house to say hello. Curious, BD-
Why the boycott of the D'Souza flick? The guy knows how to make compelling films, and went to jail for the hit job he did with "Obama's America" in '12. He gave $ to a college roommate who had no chance of winning his election, and because it was over the "limit' he got jail time for it? What crock of shit. No one gets jail time for that. If that were the case, they could hold the Dem Convention in the Federal Pen at Danbury. He's paid a high price for telling the truth about Obummer and his Democrat horde. You should reconsider. Scullman is right on all counts.
One must use every weapon at their disposal to fight evil even if this movie is unlikely to change many opinions. However I am sympathetic to BD's point of view. I haven't seen the movie and probably won't as I imagine it will leave me frustrated, infuriated, outraged, and depressed while raising my blood pressure 20 points. I don't need anymore convincing. She is evil. Period. scullman: He gave $ to a college roommate who had no chance of winning his election, and because it was over the "limit' he got jail time for it?
No. He admitted to knowingly and illegally making straw-donations. Zach, sort of like the guy who gave bundled money to the clintons, and was magically appointed to the elite panel of nuclear experts, rather than goung to jail?
You seem to be a sort on wallmart emergency clean-up guy "clinton mess in Aisle 3, mess mop up needed immediately"' The russian government and leftist campaigns employ people to infiltrate and disrupt websites. The usual remedy is to ignore them, which I have broken here. But I suggest it is appropriate from now on. jaybird: sort of like the guy who gave bundled money to the clintons, and was magically appointed to the elite panel of nuclear experts
The difference is that D'Souza was convicted of broking the law. It's no secret that money buys access. There is a close relationship between money and politics, between the wealthy and politicians. Much of this could be precluded by better campaign finance laws. That the Clintons wield the rules of politics to their advantage is not a secret either. Many Sanders supporters think the Clintons have allowed access to power to corrupt their progressive vision, hence Sanders' strong showing in the primary season. Its no secret that money buys appointments and uranium sales approvals, and big federal taxpayer-expensed grants/contracts from the clintons.
The Ferguson and other "protesters" were paid $15/hour. I'm curious - do you get paid by the hour, word, or by each entry? "Clinton-Zachiel mess on aisle 5 - be careful not to slip in the trollslime, cleanup needed"

The uranium deal involved multiple agencies. There is no evidence of Clinton's involvement in the decision, much less that approval was due to the donations. The close nexus of money and government is a problem, though there is no evidence that laws were broken in this case. Presumably, you would support stronger regulation.

Of course he entered a guilty plea. They would have crucified him on those trumped up charges. The very same administration that found it impossible to prosecute Hillary for her 1001 felonies jumped in D'Souza's shit for nothing. Amazing what you can do with power of you are dishonest and have no conscience. I will be sooooooo Glad when Obama the terrible is gone. I do hope Trump wins the presidency and appoints half a dozen special prosecutors to investigate and expose the most corrupt administration in our history. Sadly I do expect Hillary to steal the election and break Obama's record for corruption.

Actually he did not know that this was against election law. Election law is very complicated and it is intentionally very complicated to prevent the outsider from getting even close to being elected to office. By any normal reasoning what he did was certainly nothing that our legal system should even be involved in. It would be the equivalent of saying you must jump up and down on your left foot with your hands in the air like you just don't care and say "may I" three times while spinning clockwise before you can give money to a candidate. Any variation on this "law" will get you hard time you lousy felon!!
But interestingly the Hillary defense was not available to him then. He did not know or intend (and no one but a lawyer would have known) that he broke the law. Perhaps now in the light of the FBI's legal determination that simply not having the intent to break a law makes you safe from prosecution would allow him to get the case reversed. Or he could move to Virginia and have dishonest McAuliffe give him a pardon.

IdahoBob: Actually he did not know that this was against election law.
Of course he did. Not only did he admit he knowingly violated the law, but it's obvious that lying about the actual name of the donor was meant to avoid campaign finance limitations. "I knew that causing a campaign contribution to be made in the name of another was wrong and something the law forbids. I deeply regret my conduct." — Dinesh D'Souza IdahoBob: Or he could move to Virginia and have dishonest McAuliffe give him a pardon. You're probably referring to clemency (not a pardon) being provided by McAuliffe in Virginia to restore certain civil rights for convicted felons who have completed their sentences including probation. The right to vote is generally determined by state law. D'Souza lives in California, so his right to vote will be automatically restored once he has finished his probation.

How do you think the criminals from Mexico get into the country? Surely, we hope, but with Obama must fear, those with criminal records, the rapists, the murderers, aren't being let in through legal immigration?
No, the rapists, the murderers, the drug runners from Mexico and Central America come across the unsecured Southern border. If you are unsure, just ask those crossing the border with the criminals. But the non-criminal are bringing diseases that would be controlled if they entered legally. JK Brown: How do you think the criminals from Mexico get into the country?

do you remember when Castro was emtying his prisons and mental institutions as "refugees" to the US? It is sort of like that with Mexico, no? Your claim that younger, disease-infested illegal immigrants work more than US citizens does not answer the question, even if true. (there's lies, damn lies, and Zach's statistics) Certainly, drug dealing and off-the-books "employment" are important activities for you. Many immigrants from Cuba worked hard, but that does not cancel the truth that Castro dumped his prisons and mental institutions into the US. Same with mexico, isn't that true? Many multi-criminal illegal aliens keep being dumped back to the US after they escape prosecution.

Brings to mind the old Heinlein quote: QUOTE: Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.” We have been having a lot of 'bad luck' the last few years. All of it 'unexpected' of course. We don't need wolves to control the deer/elk populations of the U.S. We just need to expand hunting season and allow for more tags. That will take care of things in a jiffy.
Or why not assign the already-paid-for game wardens to actually do something about it? Game wardens could also cull numbers and donate meat to the community, the poor, the food banks, etc. No reason to waste perfectly good meat on the hoof by letting wolves kill them. I've heard and I don't know if it's true, but wouldn't surprise me,
that the enviro-weenies are buying up tags and not hunting. In some areas the deer explosion is significant and affecting crops. Ironically, one place I've seen evidence of this myself (scaring up a dozen deer on a 4 hour horseback ride) through an area where there's 4 fracking well pads. So much for fracking "affecting " the environment/habitat. Saw a T-shirt in Idaho about wolves.
Shoot them. Bury them. Shut up. I would go with a Great Pyrenees, Maremma or Kuvasz for herd protection myself. Or even a donkey or 2 works.
Donkeys are great protectors against coyotes. Their population is exploding in our state. Although I'd rather have a big fluffy white dog. Or two. Or five. And more family/kid safe then german shepherds that are overbred. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/flockguardians.htm |
