We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I think that photo of the couple riding the moose must be photoshopped. I've never seen a live moose. I've read they're the most dangerous animal in North America. But, that thing is huge! I don't see how it would allow a person to ride on its back.
I take it you haven't seen those pictures of those moose that guy used to deliver mail in either Canada or Alaska (was posted here on MF a while back).
I was surprised to see so many white pigmented animals. Moose and deer that have coat colors like paint horses. Interesting. There's a condition that paint horses can carry called "fatal white' where the coat condition is related to a fatal digestive disorder and the offspring don't live more than a few days if they aren't aborted.
