We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Rhubarb and strawberry pie still warm from the oven with fresh whipped cream. Maybe with French vanilla Ice cream on the side. When I was a kid our rhubarb patch was out of control, perhaps 5' x 10' and grew like weeds. We would sneak some before dinner when we got the hungry's.
You do Do the best recipes. Made the meatloaf from last week's post. I wouldn't call it "meat loaf" however…a concoction of supreme ingredients. It's great cold, reheated (if you have leftovers) and I would make twice/three times the recipe just to have some frozen. Nice one, BD!
