We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Donald is a real New Yorker


I know many native New Yorkers who talk like Trump. Not the WASPy East Siders with houses in Litchfield, but the real ones without pedigrees. Charismatic, entertaining, witty, fast-talking, pumped, brash, clever, commerce-oriented, not overly intellectual. I do not mean to say that he is a type, but people who know him find him warm, caring, highly-moral  and of course, engaging and provocative.


As I have said, he is a bit of a Honey Badger.


This is not a political endorsement, but a cultural observation.

We know she was schlonged, the left knows she was schlonged, Hillary knows she was schlonged and the media knows she was schlonged. What the uproar is all about is how can we make a white male pay for speaking the truth in an un-PC way.

Heck, my late German Jewish neighbor, an entrepreneur of some experience, used that phrase every time he bragged about stealing a great deal out from under a competitor. The Left, including the media, needs to get a life! The phrase has been around a long time as he died in 1980.
