Try to explain that one to any liberal on the internet. My Lord, they are truly writing their own death warrants. I don't get it at all...after 9/11 these people learned nothing at all.

We invited people in to train at our facilities and they took that training and killed thousands. If that doesn't give you some pause about letting more people from the Middle East into this country, then I don't know what else to say.

The left is bending over backwards to prove they are 'open minded' and 'accepting of everything and everyone' without looking at Europe to see what that has brought them.

Do we really want to be 'just like Sweden' and see our rapes increase in this country? I can't even understand this attitude. If ever we needed a candidate strong on immigration, this is the time.

Never cared for Mad Men though John Hamm delivered the only scene (in Season one) that I thought was great and memorable. But my late wife and my mother liked it and so I had to sit through seven seasons. I thought it had the leftist bias against America and had a depressing tone and viewpoint.

This year I don't have anyone in the house who's a fan so I'm not going to brother to watch the last eight episodes. Even for free on Netflix.

The muslim invasion of Europe will end in bloodshed/civil war. The only question is will the Europeans choose to defend themselves or will they give up. I certainly see no strong leaders in Western Europe, they seem willing to give it all away. My advice would be to call up the army, institute a draft and round up and rid their countries of the invaders. No exceptions, no quarter.

Indeed and why not. Do they have borders and laws or not?

Each country can choose to do as they wish (not entirely true but in fact absolutely true). If they choose to let in the muslim hordes in a short time the new citizens will riot and demand that the country change to look like a Islamic country. At that time their numbers will be much greater and their demands will be impossible to meet. There will be only one choice and that will be a civil war where muslims kill non-muslims and vice versa. So which is better? To take in the refugees and condem the country to inevitable bloodshed or to turn the refugees back which will save many lives perhaps millions of lives? Use logic and reason vs left wing politics.

Of course the New York Times loves the new pope, he's a communist!

However, the idea that US Catholics are highly supportive is highly suspect. My wife is a Catholic and among her friends, the reaction tends to run from mild dislike to calling him satanic. Imagine that, devout Catholics calling the pope "satanic".

Of course this is a very small sample but many source indicate that the divisions now run deep throughout the faithful. Seems like the Catholics have found their Obama.

That's not accurate. The claim is that that industry groups have "knowingly deceived the American people about the risks of climate change". This is what happened with the tobacco industry, when it was proven that they knew tobacco was dangerous, but lied about it to the American people, and to their own customers. There's a pattern of dark money flowing into contrarian climate research, as there was with tobacco, but that in itself is probably not sufficient to justify an investigation, much less an accusation.

The headline was inaccurate. They are not complaining about the groups being honestly wrong, but claim the industrial groups are conspiring to disseminate falsehoods, similar to what was proven with regards to the tobacco industry.

I don't know about the 'honest leftist' claiming everything belongs to the State, but isn't that the essence of Hobbes' Leviathan? (The life of Man in Nature being solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.) Everything you have is due to the fact that government is there to prevent somebody from whacking you on the head and stealing your stuff - so you have no right to complain if government whacks you on the head and steals all your stuff. Fortunately we here in the US relied a little more heavily on Locke and Smith for our political philosophy.
