McDonald's restaurants in the US - 14,267 Chik restaurants in the US (42 states and DC) - 1,850 McDs with almost 8x as many restaurants and all that the economies of scale imply, has only 6x the revenue. The stats are accurate, and provide another measure of "favorite". A lot of people complain about Walmart, but nearly everyone shops there because of value.

if you think that last place on a customer satisfaction index with declining profits slumping is somehow a measure of popularity or that needing 8x as many stores as a competitor in order to claim higher sales figures is a good thing, then you've having a stroke or are someone who has never run a business, or both. admit it, you had no idea why McDs revenues were higher than Chik's because you were too lazy to find out or didn't expect to be fact checked.

He doesn't care about McDonald's or Chik-fil-a (or anything of the kind). He's only looking to create the impression that the people who put this site together are wrong.
And it doesn't matter what they're "wrong" about, only that he gets a chance to make them look bad. It really bugs him that people who should know better (i.e., New Englanders) aren't toeing the progressive line, and he can't let that go unaddressed. Can. Not. It's the kind of fastidiousness that would make for especially efficient administrators at places like Kwalliso #22.

Having more stores is a sign of popularity. Perhaps Chick-fil-a will catch up in distribution, but that is not the case today. Re: Cuba. Are companies and small businesses going to get compensated for their losses? Cuba nationalized all business entities and then ruined them. I have a friend whose Father was a doctor and Mother owned a drug store. The doctor was told he had to work for the state and his salary went down over 80%. The Mother had her drug store nationalized but she was required to continue managing it. Within six months there was very little on the shelves and almost no prescription drugs. I'm also in favor of better relations with Cuba but with an ounce (or so) of of fairness.

Just as they taxed cigarettes, they don't really care about whether or not something is dangerous what they are really doing is creating a socialist nirvana which of course requires a lot of other people's money.
