We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Body language is easy to read, abies and pets do it all the time. Body language is also easy to misinterpret, police shoot people because they "thought" they were going to do something. So much of this is subjective and affected by the interpretors biases.
This reminds me of the CIA profiling expert who concluded that Brady and Belickick were lying about deflated footballs based on seeing them in an interview for 30 seconds (it looks increasingly like he was dead wrong). Just because you work for the FBI or CIA doesn't automatically make you an expert - or even highly competent - in your field.
I was breaking up laughing at an ex-cia body language interpreter explaining what the coach of the patriots was saying with his body language. Anyone familiar with belicheck's previous press conferences knew that that was just how the coach presents himself. You would think the body interpeter would make himself familiar with prior belicheck body language before he attempted to diagnose the present day body language. Heaven help us if the ex cia guy is any example of what we have now.
