We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
We are cattle people here--but, every once in a while I can get DH to do lamp chops on the grill--it's a struggle and they somehow have to taste Greek ! ;-)
QUESTION for BD:
Just came home with fresh strawberries: first of the season from California and they are not bad(never can find the berries that have that old fashioned flavor). I have ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream and greek yogurt in the fridg. Thought maybe you would have some ideas from your Italian wonderings about how to serve these little gems this evening. I look forward to your suggestion!
