Life would be much simpler and I could concentrate on more important things like the size of Kim Kardashian’s ass, why the Honey Boo Boo show was canceled, the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, whether I’ll get a better deal on Chinese slave labor produced crap on Black Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday, fantasy football league standings, the latest NFL player to knockout their woman and get reinstated, Obama’s latest racial healing plan, which Clinton or Bush will be our next figurehead president, or the latest fake rape story from Rolling Stone. The willfully ignorant masses, dumbed down by government education, lured into obesity by corporate toxic packaged sludge disguised as food products, manipulated, controlled and molded by an unseen governing class of rich men, and kept docile through never ending corporate media propaganda, are nothing but pawns to the arrogant sociopathic pricks pulling the wires in this corporate fascist empire of debt.

Re Pearly Gates.

The traditional Christian doctrine is that the Second Coming reestablishes Eden, which the saved will inhabit in their physcial bodies. As in the original, Eden will be populated by all sorts of animals and plants, including no doubt non-biting mosquitos and snakes. The saved physical bodies will be immortal and free of pain and disease. The lion will lie down with the lamb.

Yes it seems to claim that.

As a faithful Christian, tho, I have not much interest in that unless there are lots of books, sex, and hunting opportunities. Otherwise, sounds boring. I am more interested in the spiritual Kingdom of God today which can exist in the human soul.

I don't know about mosquitoes and snakes, but I'm sure there are rats in heaven. What else would the terriers chase all day long? It's sort'of a doggie Valhalla. Of course, the dogs' heaven is the rats' hell, which brings up all sorts of interesting ideas.

A long rant. I liked this particular quote. After the way Boehner and McConnell have sold us out, how could it not be true?

Saw "Exodus" this weekend. It wasn't half-bad. Had some good parts (the plagues!) and some bad parts (some of the story in the Bible was not in the film...some very important parts, IMHO). However, overall I was glad to see a Biblical tale on screen with modern CGI.

I also am very confounded by those who claim it was 'racist.' I have no idea where that came from. There was a mix of races shown. Never felt it had any black vs. white going on. Guess some people just want to find racism in everything these days.

My family gave it a solid C+.
