Regarding the "torture report". Is it really true that if we have another 9/11 style attack that we shouldn't waterboard the mastermind so that we can save thousands of American lives? Is that really what Sen Feinstein means? Should we simply bear the brunt of the attack and shake it off? Is that how the survivors and families of 9/11 victims feel? It all seems so crazy to me. But at the same time the left is telling us to let the Ferguson rioters burn buildings, loot, beat up hapless victims and even kill people because, well, because they are dumb inner city folks and don't know any better. How is allowing criminal acts of violence to get more "free stuff" good and coercive interrogation to save lives bad? The irony that the very same people can take such conflicting views is mindboggling. In my humble opinion the only thing that the law enforcement and politicians can do to mitigate the harm that they have created by allowing this violence to go on and on is to scrupulously study all the video taken at these riots in an attempt to identify criminal acts and arrest and prosecute the perpetrator.
