Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

NYC, last Sunday

No, we did not associate with the climate-communism marchers on Sunday. We went to the museum.


Mrs. BD thought you might like the current arrangements in the lobby. Hydrangea, curly willow, and something else. They are always spectacular.

Was just there myself two weeks ago for my fill-up of energy and culture!

Not too bad of a stroll from Mid-Town up to the Met and back, though next time I'll go up Madison (rather than Park) and then back down Lexington---the traditional "Noo Yawk" avenue.

We don't get to travel much for any reason. However, please send Mrs. BD my sincere thank you for teaching me how "to see" this type of flower arrangement. Your (her) last couple of posts about these large colonial, classical, baroque flower arrangements has given me the confidence to try--it was always an item on my "to learn how" list.
