Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Note to Kirsten Powers as well as all the rich supporters of "liberal" causes

Kirsten, you are finally getting it but I think you have further to go in your understanding. You and all the "well meaning" people who support "liberal" causes (especially the rich) will be eaten by left because it is not about people nor is it about honesty, decency, tolerance, or justice for that matter, it's about the agenda. What you described is just the beginning stages. When the left attains sufficient control, you won't be needed. Then they will go after the rich (we ain't seen nothin' yet). They will need their money and by that time they will be the only ones with any.

Lenin called you and people like you 'useful idiots'. You are useful to the agenda - until you aren't.

Awesome blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm completely confused .. Any ideas? Bless you!

Seems like I remember this. Trolling for drugs under the guise of an 'inspection'. Seems the barber shops were black owned/patronized as well.

When Government acquires toys, they will want to play with them.
