We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

If you have to tell people how to dress for their profession, that your appearance is important in imparting competence to patients and their families, I wonder about their judgement on other things.

We've got to stop all this progress. It's taking jobs from people who provide costly services that fewer people want and giving jobs to people who provide less costly services that more people want. How horrific! It reminds me of what Henry Ford did to those people in the buggy whip industry.

Without any education, personal knowledge, or experience with the subject of adrenaline boost, I have had for some time now an intuitive sense that the quickly expanding pc thinking/control has something to do with an adrenaline high (kick if you will).

I have long known that those teeth clucking, tight lipped, chin dipping agents of change have little else in their personal lives but their intense drive to force the young in the increasingly focused/concentrated issues du jour. The act is rewarding--like an addiction.

I have many things that I do in my daily life--many of which are creative, challenging and sometime rewarding--but my focus as I was taught was to focus on how good I could become. When a human being has only one focus--to make sure you change the mind of the young person to think in your way--then there can only be that sense of personal satisfaction when one has made that attempt. THEREFORE, that warm and fuzzy feeling an individual gets from succeeding is only attained when you have successfully forced your local baker to bake for a gay wedding. You can only get that warm and fuzzy feeling when you force young women to rebel against dress codes. You can only get that warm and fuzzy feeling when you load up school busses of 6th graders and march them in a parade downtown Seattle to protest union wages, etc., etc., etc. You ask why the rapid increase of pc thinking---I think Dr. Bliss should take it from here! She gets it! It is about the addiction/satisfaction of the empty soul.

Of course. They are getting desperate,they want the taxes and control of new rules that the AGW scam will provide them. If you ever needed evidence that AGW was a scam this is it. It is and always has been about power and money.

The federal courts have ruled that the 13th ammendment prohibits all forced labor. You can't force someone to bake you a cake or penalize them if they refuse to do so. I would find some contingcy fee lawyer and sue the state of Colorado in federal court for a billion dollars.
