We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Hey, no fair for Drudge to use his superior knowledge of the US tax law learned from the IRS's threatening hand held raised against small businesses.

It is amusing though to see the abject ignorance and lack of ability to comprehend the real world from so many Ivy league graduates. Not to mention yet another Obamacare snake in the grass biting them in the backside. Guess it's time for another delay from Executive Order Man.

Who would have guessed that "black culture" would lead to behaviors that get kids suspended from school, or that crappy urban schools [where the majority of students are "children of color"] would both contain large numbers of members of that culture and cause good teachers to flee to better jobs elsewhere, creating a job churn leading to lots of inexperienced teachers in those schools? I mean, really, who on earth could have guessed either of those things.

Oh. Wait. It's the US Dept of ED, so obviously the cause is the inherent racism of the public school system.

Since when does Yale admit women? They admitted me--though unfortunately I couldn't dream of affording to attend! That was in 1978, but Google tells me Yale has been admitting women since 1969.

While I agree with the cat, the road to reforming our criminal law will be long and bumpy. Most are in "there's gotta be a law" mode when they don't like something, which needs to be finessed.

BTW, for grins, go to city hall/county board and ask to see the complete volume of local ordinances.

Wood Skyscrapers: Haven't they hear the forests are mostly off-limits these days due to decades-ago litigation by the Greenie Wienies? And you can't test wood for breaking strength without breaking it, and they are not all alike, sooooooooo...

Critics don't understand small business finances? That's because small businesses are beneath their contempt, which is reserved for large businesses.

Let's see, if I can understand. They want to build skyscrapers out of wood when we had our first wood crisis back in the 13th century when the population and construction was decidedly smaller?

I wondered if anyone has run the numbers on the strength and weight, not to mention the carbon footprint for production, of similar sized engineered wood beams vs a steel beam.

Well, from the article it would seem the Yale women are less slutty and more concubiney. Perhaps doxies.

But they do not seem to be of so loose in morals but rather, as women who cohabits with "important" men and make themselves sexually available to gain or remain in favor.

If they were just slutty, one presumes they would be servants or untidy or at least loose in their morals for personal choice and pleasure.

I have no doubt American schools are racist. But what can we do? Any attempt to improve the situation and to militate against the hatred of Whites will be vigorously opposed by courts, media, universities, regulatory agencies, politicians.

Why contain Russia? Russia occupied Paris in 1814 and things worked out well. Perhaps Putin will be as Alexander.

The EU has no right to exist. If they won’t defend themselves, we shouldn’t and can’t.
