We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I think he overstates and oversimplifies, but I don't think he's flat wrong. He puts forward actual evidence for these unacceptable opinions as well.
I don't figure he's getting elected to congress anywhere.

I like Zombies work. And he put some considerable effort and thought into this. So, I will be gentle. I would say that progessives have a strong desire to control what other people do and say and think. They believe they can achieve this with rules and regulations and such. They are oppressive and dictatorial. On this, I agree with Zombie. But, the oppression is not intentionally directed against minorities. The results of their policies have a greator impact on minorities and that makes it look like it is purposeful, but it mostly isn't. I would say much of the black political and religious leadership purposefully promots policies they know to be harmful, just so they can can retain power. They know better, but they need an angry consituency voting more money and power into their pockets. In general, progressives have a greater impact on minorites because minorities are involved more deeply with progressive government policies. The progessives would dearly love to have that level of control on all of us. Yes, they are hypocritical, all those wielding power are. And yes to most of what Zombie says in his article. He just gives the progessives too much credit for large scale deciet. Sure, everything they promote is a fraud, but that is different than saying it is directed at minorities. And it is different than claiming such a far reaching conspiracy could ever be pulled off. The smart ones are in it for power and money, they don't care about the doctrine or if it would work or who it would harm. The followers believe, and are incapable of such deciet. It would be great to get a Gore or Clinton on tape expressing themselves honestly. That would be a hoot.
