If only that were true. Of the more than 4 million employees who work for the federal government, 3 million or more are still on the job. The government is NOT shut down. If this were an employer lock-out as in private industry, nearly all of those 4 million would be on the outside looking in. When 75% of your workers are still toiling at their jobs, it might be a SLOWdown, but it's definitely not a SHUTdown. Crocodile tears all around. Boo friggin hoo. Too bad if Princess Moochelle might have to do without some of her White House servants to save the nation a few bucks.

As has often been pointed out, they are willing to negotiate with the ayatollahs in Iran. They are willing to negotiate with Bashar Assad through Vladimir Putin. They were positively fawning over the Muslim Brotherhood."

The Obama administration acts cowardly towards real terrorists and Islamic jihadists because those folks mean what they say and do what they say will do. Time and again Congressional Republicans have buckled under pressure from the Dems and have compromised their principles, unlike the jihadists. The country would be a lot better off with a political opposition party that is not afraid to defend its core beliefs. The Dems are taking this nation into bankruptcy by their reckless overspending. Each day Obama is in office Americans lose more of the personal liberties they are guaranteed by the Constitution. Real Conservatives need to show the courage of their convictions by saying NO to this relentless march towards fiscal and political Armageddon.
