Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Well, that hit the nail on the head. I've been dropping by Stilty's site about once a week to get caught up since you first mentioned him (don't have a lot of Internet time these days). I'm glad he's gotten through the personal problems he had a few months ago and is (clearly) back in the groove. The above is as good as it gets.

What he should be credited for isn't just the marvelous wit, but he's also an excellent writer. No wasted verbiage, just exactly what needs to be said. The above is a perfect example.

The 'racism' cartoon on my 'intro' page will probably remain my favorite cartoon until the end of time. He's so... so... (groping for perfect word)... brazen!

    I'm sure glad I wasn't in the middle of a sip of coffee when I read that last square or I probably would have spit it over the keyboard. Damn, that was funny. I'm sorta new to Maggie's and missed that first post on him, but he's now part of my daily ritual. Chris Muir, move over!

    That gets a Bwah-hah! out of me too. I've got him bookmarked in my "Fun Stuff" folder and drop by occasionally when I'm just goofing around, but I hadn't seen today's. He's really gifted and we're lucky to have him on our side.
