We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Definitely a better quality than the $1.50/ night hotels I used in South America in the 1970s. I would estimate that some rooms I stayed in were smaller than the bed in your hotel room.
I once shared a room with an Argentine medical student in La Paz, who complained that the hotel didn't provide towels. For a buck fifty a night you expect towels? THAT is chutzpah.
Admittedly, having a clear window into the bathroom is a little odd, not to mention that the curtains are outside the bathroom.
Kathy: Now, Jim, I'm sure neither one of us is happy that our school trip couldn't afford separate rooms for everybody, but I'm sure we can work this out.
Jim: I don't see any problem.
Kathy: Good. Okay, I'm going to take a shower now. No peeking!
About five minutes' steamy-hot shower water-running should serve to nicely fog that bathroom window sufficiently for privacy's sake, I think...
I really, really like that bed - very attractive piece of woodworking, including the wall panels that form and extend either side of the headboard. The sideboard and corner-wall cupboards are very nice, too.
