I'm writing to ask for your assistance, since there is no other way that I can see to contact you.

Here's the problem: I commented on one of "Dr Mercury's" articles.

Big mistake!

"Doc Mercury" has been emailing me ever since, arguing incessantly. I do not want to hear from him, but he keeps emailing me. Now he is threatening to write a public article about me!

Someone has apparently wired around "Doc Mercury's" On/Off switch, and I cannot get him to go away. I do not respond to his emails, but he keeps sending them anyway. When I tried to respond in your threads, "Doc Mercury" deleted my replies. I have repeatedly used my computer's "Bounce to Sender" feature, but he keeps sending me unwanted emails.

Because I don't respond to his emails, "Doc Mercury" has now threatened to write an article about me, and post it on Maggie's Farm. The guy has a screw loose, and I feel uncomfortable with his incessant pestering. As I said, I do not respond to him. But he keeps emailing me anyway. [I have his emails to me saved, if you want to read them. Just ask.]

In his emails "Doc Mercury" calls me insulting names: "moron", etc. I was always polite, until I stopped responding completely. I never called him names, and I do not like the fact that he is a name-caller who also solicits other readers' name-calling. I have been reading Maggie's Farm for several years, and I have gotten others to read it, too. I am not your enemy!

"Doc Mercury" has egged on readers who appeared hostile to my one comment [which, in total, amounted to about 2 sentences that compared the number of responses his article got, vs the person his article was attacking. That person is a friend of mine.].

"Doc Mercury" never deleted the readers' comments that called me a "moron", a "shill", a "toady", etc. But when I tried to [politely] respond and explain, "Doc Mercury" then deleted the entire thread. I never called those people or "Doc Mercury" any insulting names, and I should point out that your site rules specifically do not permit name-calling. But "Doc Mercury" allowed them to stand, until I objected.

"Doc Mercury" is a guy that I donated money to, following his incessant appeals for medical funds. I reminded him of that, but it did no good. He still emails me, and his attention is completely unwanted. I have tried to get him to go away, without success.

Please do what you can to get this lunatic off my back. I am truly convinced he is unbalanced.

I will keep posting this message until your "Dr Mercury" stops contacting me. He is an unwanted pest. Please make him go away.
