We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
The craft which ferries you from Saint Simons Island across the Hampton River and through the marshes to the Little Saint Simons dock. Just a 200 hp Yamaha. That's a good, quiet engine. Not cheap.
--japanese do have a knack for engines. The A6M Zero fighter had a measly 950 HP and we had to go to the double-wasp wright-cyclone with 2200 HP (F6F Hellcat) to thoroughly whup it. And Hellcat had half Zero's 2000 mile range, and never could outclimb it below 14,000'.
