We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Are you prepared for the Global Cooling Crisis?

I know our friend Sippican up in Maine is getting ready. Scientists say period of 250 years of global cooling ahead due to changes in the sun.


After that, presumably the warming crisis will resume to great alarm. No wonder they have changed the name to "Climate Change." Can't go wrong there, because weather happens. Here in the Northeast, climate tends to change daily, and seasonally too.

Sixteen years of no global warming — while CO2 continues to rise. CO2 has gone up 40%, but global warming has stopped.

Therefore, CO2 is not the cause of global warming.

What other conclusion is there?
