We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Funny, to be sure, but no. Stops were moved for landscaping, and placed to keep cars from parking while the work was continuing...
Keep and eye out this spring - you'll see this @ landscaping season picks up.
I suspect that it was because the restaurant parking lot was found to be encroaching on the old Norfolk Southern railroad right-of-way. When it was a seemingly abandoned rail line, no-one cared. But when Virginia Beach taxpayers spent $40 million to acquire it in 2010 with dreams of a "light rail system", all of the sudden it became important that none of the restaurant patrons continued the trespass.
