We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Listen to the voices of the machines replicating the clueless barista and manager, and then ask yourself when you have ever seen a native-born black American in a Starbucks. In all the ones I've visited, the numbnuts behind the counter are either white hipster-wannabes or just-off-the-plane immigrants from countries you've never heard of.
Yet SNL decided that "stupid black people" would resonate best with their viewers.
Comedy is funny in proportion to how true it is. If this was about a McDonalds' home burgermaker the stereotypes would be more accurate. This is just lazy and racist.
Remember this the next time SNL tries to paint conservatives as racists. The real racists are the ones writing this stuff.
