Typical 'skeptic' behavior. Take a supposed flaw in a single study, then magnify this into the downfall of the entire infrastructure of the relevant science. Clue: this all occurred many years ago, and yet it has failed to convince the vast majority of climatologists.

In this case, we're talking about a 2006 paper by Piers Forster and Gregory. The choice of priors is somewhat subjective, and the IPCC, after significant consideration, chose different priors than did the authors. That prior was based on the best science of the time, but the science has progressed since then, and the original results have been updated with data from ERBE and CERES with a result of about 3.0°C. See Murphy et al. 2010.

You misrepresent the subject of the article.

You have no apparent scientific background or experience.

Exactly why do you assume any authority on this subject, and why do you insist on commenting out of ignorance and dishonesty?

Of course not. That guy is a lefty. If he were a conservative, he would be hounded out of his school. When Gabby Giffords was shot by a lunatic, the Tea Party, and conservatives in general, and Sarah Palin in particular were blamed for the "climate" that would lead to that senseless shooting. As evidence, they dug up that she had targeted congress critters to defeat in the next election. Why there was a graphic with crosshairs! (horrors)

The left and their idiots (useful or not) are routinely ignored when they threaten or discuss violence and even when they actually commit it (as in the case of the union thugs in Detroit). Let's not forget that lefties have not concern giving a talk at any university about almost any topic. They do not have to worry about security. However, if someone like David Horowitz or Ann Coulter give a speech at a university (if they can), they have to supply their own security and even then, they are sometimes attacked.

In the last four years; Black unemployment is worse than the white unemployment, black households have lost homes and real wealth at a worse rate than white households and yet nearly 100% voted for the President in charge during that time.

Free men don't vote against their own interests like that.
