Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Sounds like the denial for security and rescue came from the White House, not from Clinton.
My link didn't work:
http://newsninja2012.com/bombshell-clinton-ordered-more-security-obama-denied-request/ Zero's now yapping about trust in his campaign speeches. Odd coming from him, he's lied about Libya from the get-go and he lied about sequestration during the last debate. He said he didn't have anything to do with it even though he signed it into law.
Bird Dog: Massive Voter Fraud in NC
Um, no. From your own citation, it's primarily a fault in older records, not whether the voters are eligible or not. Bird Dog: The culture that is Denmark
Interesting. Prostitution is universal to every country, but the Danes pay taxes. He could deduct for travel, but not hotels. What's even more interesting is that everyone does their own taxes. QUOTE: Roger Simon: Woods says he was told by military officials that the military could have "come above [the area] and completely carpeted area," and therefore saved the officials in Benghazi, Libya. Which, if you think about it for even a moment, is why that would have been a terrible idea. That quote should be attributed to the article by Daniel Halper: Father of Slain SEAL: Who Made the Decision Not to Save My Son?

Neil Young? Really? http://www.neilyoung.com/news/ PLEASE
continue the STRETCH series! (and credits, too) Many Thanks So Obama flies into Chicago to cast his ballot (for himself) at what cost to the taxpayers? This guy's arrogance exceeds Nero.
What I want to know is, what size Honor Guard of dead Benghazi terrorists will be escorting Mr. Woods and Mr. Doherty to Valhalla?
Other than one comment by someone who says they read an report of ten Libyan security killed in the defense of the Benghazi consulate the only number I've seen anywhere is "Four". I know other Maggies commenter's have been asking the same question. Word is the WH and "decision-makers" feared SAMs liberated from Libyan "authorities" (oxymoron alert) that could easily have downed any gunship or Apache we could have gotten there. Thousands of US and Russian SAM kits have gone missing, many likely to Syria, where Saddam's WMDs went in large part.
Actually, I have been told that the mission the "private contractors" Mr. Woods and Mr. Doherty were in-country for was gathering intelligence on the whereabouts of those Manpac Sams.
Ironic Sorry to hear that your trusty hunting pointer dog is ill, but the replacement seems a worthy companion for those chill days in the woods.
There is at least one other member of the family that will ensure that the replacement stays outside in the kennel, methinks.
Since you mentioned the hurricane what advice would you give to my college student daughter in LI? She lives off campus on the sound, scheduled to take PCAT exam on Tues. Part of me wants to tell her to come home today (to slightly upstate NY) on the other hand if it's not that bad and she misses the exam she has to wait for another and lose the $200 sign up fee.
OT Question:
Does anyone know if commenter Marianne Matthews is alright? Can't recall seeing her at The Farm for some time now. I tried to phone her last week and was told the line was disconnected. I emailed and did not get a response. I'll post, as appropriate, when I know more.
I pray this is not her but the age dates are about right and she lived in Texas, yes?
