Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

--i wrote that comment a few minutes into the vid --thinkinhg it would end with the song.

Wrongo! over an hour and a half long it is, and it's good all the way down, like those turtles in that eastern legend of creation.

Matter of fact, there is a turtle story in the video --LK tells it on a friend of his, i think the writer of the song LK is introducing.

Spoiler alert here, but seems LK was over at the guy's house and happened to notice there was a goldfish bowl nearby with a struggling turtle in the water trying and trying unsuccessfully to climb out of the water.

LK says to his pal, "Hey, have you noticed what's going on over here with this turtle?"

The friend nods, and says, "He's been bad."
