We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Not since World War Two has a great economy been as mismanaged as badly as the EU has fouled up the eurozone. For the hundreds of thousands of Europeans who have lost their jobs and life savings, the consequences of that mismanagement are very real. Is the answer to this catastrophe really “more Europe?” Do the authorities in Brussels really need more power — or deserve more public trust?
Level, fair voting to the current political class is like sunlight to vampires.
Arrow’s Impossibility Theorem states that when voters have three or more distinct alternatives (options), no rank order voting system can convert the ranked preferences of individuals into a community-wide (complete and transitive) ranking while also meeting a specific set of criteria.
Or to put in in a non-mathematical statement:
1 - No voting method is fair.
2 - Every ranked voting method is flawed.
3 - The only voting method that isn't flawed is a dictatorship.
Turkey is already here. Just as an example, the Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, CT is an all Turkish institution which caters to rich Turks. They accept only boys. Girls in the families of the teachers (who are also, by and large Turks) attend public schools.
There are other small towns in MA, CT and RI that also have all Turkish junior and senior high schools.
HOW MANY OTHER UNDERCOVER REPORTERS DOES O’KEEFE HAVE? DNC fires Obama campaign staffer for assisting voter fraud attempt. “The Democratic National Committee has terminated the employment of Houston, Texas, Organizing For America Regional Field Director Stephanie Caballero after she was caught on camera calling voter fraud ‘cool’ and ‘so funny’ while advising a presumably-liberal voter how to vote twice.”
I’m sure the Justice Department will be right on top of this, too . . . .

A ghost, a dog, and an illegal alien walked up to Stephanie Caballero and said "We want to vote for Obama!" Stephanie replied, "All twelve of you?"
