We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
The way the photographer has placed a person under interior light inside each house, making that window a pic-within-a-pic (a -sniff- mi en scene), is delightful and evocative. Occurs, it's literally 'delightful'.
I saw you story about finding the hat Buddy, but let me tell you what happened to me.
I was out on my loader tractor (no cab) the other day and it was about 108 out side. (I would have preferred to have had the Maggie's tractor driver running my tractor for me and she could work on her tan at the same time. Apparently she is unavailable, but I digress.)
Anyway, as I was driving home, this itty bitty cloud that barely covered the sun came up, and out of this iota of a cloud fell one solitary cold rain drop and it struck me on the cheek.
Well sir, the shock of that raindrop was more than my system could stand and I passed out just after getting the tractor stopped.
Soon another farmer came by and tried to revive me. He patted my wrists to no avail. Another farmer came upon the seen and slapped my face but I still wouldn't come to.
They were standing there picking their noses and scratching their heads wondering what to do for me when a third farmer came by. He fetched a milk pail out of the back of his pickup and filled it with powdered dust from the road and threw that dust in my face.
Because the liberal "community activists/change agents" rely heavily upon case law (precedent), and because sex is the foot in the door that works the fastest for them. I believe we should be truly terrified of this decision:
Barrister, I would like to read your thoughts on this--what kind of country will we be when you can be put in jail for "not telling"? What if this case had been about grand theft auto and not sex? What if this case had been about a bank robbery and not sex? Or, what if my neighbor tells me that someday he would like to "smack down that local politician, goes to a planning board hearing and proceeds to smack that politician, am I at fault for "not telling"?
