We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Two things we can count on from the left; when one of theirs or their side screws ups, it's somehow in all of our names, because we are all Americans.
The other is that when the roles are flipped, and it's a Republican who commits the misstep, then it's time to excoriate the mook.
North takes one for the team, Holder will take one for the team, too... the writer posits. A curious turn of the phrase, though, renders Holder's sacrifice explicitly as one for "all of us", while North's is, what? The counter point to Holder's soon-to-be noble gesture?
I see this writer has embedded the prime tenet of socialism (for the Greater good) into his core. It colors everything he writes here.
Won't even go on about the rest of his lies. He implies a relationship between wide receiver and FF, which is a lie. For starters, we cooperated with the Mexican govt on WR, and the program was stopped in 2007. FF was done without the knowledge of our neighbors to the south - in other words, over 300 Mexican citizens have been killed by criminals using guns our most wholesome, in-the-name-of-ALL-Americans dear Leader allowed to be sent to Mexico w/out that government's knowledge.
That the writer would attempt to conflate the two as being similar is disgusting, and makes me physically ill at the thought of it.
I also remember when a Democrat Congress stabbed South Vietnam in the back, resulting in the death of millions. That, too, is a shame that according to democrats, must be borne by "all" Americans.
I am sick, and tired, and completely disgusted with all things Democrat.
And don't get me started on about 30% of Republicans who are really Big Government, dem-lite RINO's who whisper small gov but wind up moving leftward as the dhimmicrats do, they just don't ratchet the water up to boiling as quickly as do their comrades on the left.
But that, my friends, is another Rant left for another day...
sick of the left - tar 'n feather the whole damned lot of them!
just realized i dumped the orig rant in the wrong place. can the moderator/page admin please move above rant to proper location?
sick of the left - but just had coffee and woke up...
Great pic. Thanks. I needed to see that today - we're landlocked here in Indiana and it's hot as blazes.
We call this the "big wave beach" as compared to the bay side. It's a long walk down the dune, but the lack of crowds makes it worthwhile. Having the Beachcomber at the top is an added plus. The brother-in-law gets teased about his girly rumrunner cocktail but he usually buys the steamers and shares. The steamers are wonderful. Get them to go and carry the whole mess back down to the beach. Will be visting again this July.
