We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I gotta tell you. I'm finding this who repetitive theme of let's fight back to be very tedious. I'm finding Hannity to be tedious on it. And now I'm finding the MILF to be getting tedious about it. Do or don't do. There is no "we should do."
I think this calling for aggression is a reaction to 4 years ago when McCain lost, in part, by being to gentlemanly. I don't think the right needs to lower itself to the level of the left, but there is merit in aggressively setting the tone of the campaign...it's the economy and no most of us don't want to go the way of CA and Europe...rather than always reacting as the incumbent and media set the tone of the campaign.
