If women have been getting more degrees than men since '81, then they've (presumably) outnumbered men in college since '77. Basic arithmetic says that's 35 years, and that's 2 generations. Good luck trying to defund those women's centers, though.

"Older Men Want More Sex, Study Finds". What about younger men? I expect pretty much every man wants more sex.

Just this weekend I was hearing some noise through the boxes that noise comes out of and wondered aloud "What is that noise?" I determined the source - some internets feed or stream or something... it turns out I was hearing what must be the absolute worst song ever, maybe even the worst Beatles song ever, named Blue Jay Way. Man, they'll let anything onto this internet thing.

Congress is more polarized than ever and things are going to get more dysfunctional? Nonsense. From the Conservative perspective it could never get any worse than it now is. The Democrats have all but given up doing right by the nation, as the failure of the Senate to pass a budget for the last 3 years clearly indicates, while so-called Republican Moderates like Snowe have been anything but actual Republicans in word and deed. Good riddance to the likes of out-of-touch octogenarian, old-boys like Orrin Hatch who long ago stopped doing their jobs and allowed the nation to fall victim to the financial and moral mess we now find ourselves in. Welcome to more first time citizen legislators, new blood with ideals and enthusiasm. Every so often it's good to rotate the crops in the field and start anew. The kind of "experience" and "expertise" that the Snowes and the Hatchs and the Nelsons provide we can do without. What the country needs is not "experience" in how to fail but the will and dedication to succeed.

It's a shame that those of us who know something about the oil and gas industry are just grateful that the moonbat liberals are just now finding out about 'fracking.' The oil and gas industry has had forty years to perfect the techniques before the liberals had found out about it and could start their usual poo-flinging. Canada has been producing oil and gas with fracking and has plenty of both fuels just waiting for the pipeline down to the refineries on the Gulf Coast to be finished. Now all we have to do is get the Neanderthals out of the White House before they can throw too many more blockades in our way. The greenies are doing their best to delineate fracking as dangerous and scary. Which it isn't. That's why I'm grateful that the greens didn't find out about fracking until it was pretty near perfected. It's hard to convince reasonable people about the dangers of an energy extraction technique which uses mainly water to fracture the stone layers away from each other and liberate the oil and gas.

I know that they'll keep trying to spoil things for those of us who would like to have a chance to be totally energy-independent. I mean, what would a President do who didn't have to bow and scrape to the primitives in the Middle East? Why I guess that he'd just have to stay here in the United States and at least try to solve some of our economic problems. No more bopping around the world in Air Force One groveling to one dictator or another. He'd just have to stay home and have the moral courage to make difficult decisions to rescue our economy from this deep recession

Can he even do that?

P.S. Ben-David my friend. My pejorative comments on the Middle East are not aimed at Israel, which is the sole modern miracle country there.

Israel called up the reserves yesterday --and is posting some units to the borderlands. Obama, where is Stephanie Powers and the rest of you & Hillary's 'Arab Spring' state dept this morning?
