We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Downton Abbey


A pal of Mrs. BD was astonished that Mrs. BD was not a Downton Abbey follower, so she obtained the 2010-2011 episodes.


I watched the first episode. It's an Upstairs, Downstairs-like drama, beautiful to look at, but perhaps more of a chick thing. Maggie Smith is great. The BD daughter would say "perfect production values."


Perhaps it's about nostalgia for the Britain of the past, comfortable warts and all.

Watching that lefty chick interview musloids made me blow chunks all over my nice mac keyboard. In another video she is interviewing a white guy and all she does is contradict herself. She doesn't even hear what she is saying. She's on full auto liberal program. Argh! Arm yourselves and get ready.

So a lefty chick FINALLY meets up with diversity! This is chick is all feelings and emotion.....hm...maybe that is what is needed to get the libtards to finally see what is really happening.
The sad part is, she probably won't equate the liberal government of Britain with the problems they now have. She wants to be respected for who or what she is and she runs right smack dab into the genetically altered thinking of muslims.

I have pity on her, if she keeps that up sooner or later she will be subjected to the tactics the mulsims have used in many European cities to drive out the "natives".
In the Scandinavian countries that my relatives came from "native" females are beaten and gang raped until they learn that the city isn't theirs anymore. This also effectively discourages the men if their women are treated thus and they find out the police won't deal with it. Or allow them to retaliate. For many years rape statistics in Sweden, which were once so low as to be non-existent, were classified as a state secret.
When the 2010 figures were released it was found that (in Oslo) not one rape was committed by a ethically Swedish man, of the identified attackers all were of foreign origin.

The sooner people figger' out there are no extremists, only muslims, the sooner we can start fighting to save Western Civ.

I've actually go no problem with the guy who speaks to her in a civil tone telling her essentially that she can't be saved unless she converts to Islam. There's plenty of Christians who would say the same about Christianity to people on the street.

The real issue is the claim that civil authority has no legitimate claim of authority over Muslims in Britain. Islam has no separation between church and state and does not recognize any such separation as legitimate. Why Britain permits unfettered immigration of people who don't recognize their authority is beyond me.

Britain's immigration mysteries can be answered by searching (I don't google anymore b/c they too appease islam) for a guy named Andrew Neather.
That will scratch the itch on your head if it doesn't make it explode first.
To sum it up, he admitted that the immigration policies of the liberal British gov'ts were to "...destroy all traces of 'Britishness' from Britain." Suicide by legislation.
One of many examples, both here and abroad.
The West is dying, not because of hostile action, but because we are letting it happen.

England failed to control immigration and this is the inevitable result. It will get worse. It is a lesson to other nations but no one is listening. So we too must learn the hard way.

Yes these Muslims are NOT extremists. There is NO 'radical' Islam. These are middle of the road, ordinary Muslims. Very, very soon they will be in the majority in most of Europe.
My view is that the time has come to outlaw any outward manifestation of their 'faith' and to begin deportation by force of all Muslims to North Africa and Pakistan. The Muslims will continue killing non-Muslims in increasing numbers until they have exterminated every white person in Europe. Make no mistake, that is their aim.
